VMP E33: Back to the Ghostbustin’
We're back, and this time-- we're out of time! The three bros reconvene to bring you Versus 2.0! A new and improved version of your favorite podcast. Join us for this first episode back from our hiatus as we discuss two 80's gems, Michael J. Fox's breakout role in Back to the Future and ol' Silly Billy Murray in Ghostbusters!
First, we begin by catching up with you and each other before diving into our newly christened and revamped segment, aptly titled, "What's on your beak?". We each throw out several things that have been on our radar within the past week or so and shoot the shit, all while having an in depth conversation.
Finally, we get down to bidness as we travel back in time to the greatest era that this world has ever seen-- the 1980s! We all have a good laugh at the failed remake that was Ghostbusters 2016 as we regale the time honored, true film, Ghostbusters, starring Bill Murray, Dan Akroyd, Sigourney Weaver, and Rick Moranis. Before we cross the streams, lest us now forget about Michael J. Fox, Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Christopher Lloyd's sci-fi journey in Back to the Future! As you can see, we have a task ahead of us trying to decide which of the two is better! Which will it be? Tune in to find out!
As always, you can leave a comment below to let us know what your thoughts are on this discussion or email us at Versusmoviepodcast@gmail.com. We plan to return next week with-- you guessed it-- yet, another banger of an episode. Next week, we pit hall-of-fame director, Steven Spielberg, against himself when we talk E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial vs Close Encounters of the Third Kind!
